Between the blue waters of Lake Garda and the green slopes of Mount Baldo, there is a place where holidays begin at a more relaxed pace. Natur Resort Panorama, our 4-star hotel in Malcesine, sits above the town surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, with sweeping views over Malcesine, Scaliger Castle and Lake Garda.
Olive trees, lemon trees and oleanders shape the large park surrounding the Resort. At the same time, everything that makes Malcesine special is close by: the old town, the beaches, the lake and Mount Baldo.
The Panorama has been run by the Lombardi family since 1954. Over the generations, the hotel has grown into a place with its own green soul: personal, close to nature and shaped by the desire to give guests something that is often missing from everyday life: time.
First Dante and Francesca, then Gianni and Laura, and today Stefano and Sibylle. For more than 70 years, the Panorama has grown together with the family who runs it and the landscape around it.
Today you can choose between rooms and apartments and shape your holiday around the way you like to travel. The Resort offers a large garden, panoramic pools, a wellness area, a restaurant and Lounge Bar, a gym, a tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch, play areas for children and a large car park.
Whether you want to head up Mount Baldo in the morning, spend a day on Lake Garda or simply stay by the pool, at Natur Resort Panorama you do not have to choose between being active and slowing down. Both are part of the holiday.

Many accommodations offer lake, garden, pool or mountain views. Our apartments and Family Suites also include a kitchenette, giving you extra freedom on longer stays or when travelling with children.
Sometimes, all you need is the warmth of the water, quiet and a place where your eyes can wander.
Our wellness area in Malcesine includes a heated indoor pool with underwater massage and waterfall jet, a Finnish sauna, steam bath, aromatic showers, Kneipp path and a relaxation area overlooking Lake Garda.
Outside, you can enjoy the scenery around the pool and the Resort’s Mediterranean surroundings. Massages are available on request, or you can start the day with a free yoga session on our woodland platform above Malcesine.
The day begins with the aroma of freshly baked bread, cappuccino and breakfast on the panoramic terrace.
Fruit, vegetables and herbs grow in our garden and also make their way into the kitchen. Homemade jams made with plums, cherries, figs or apricots sit alongside savoury breakfast favourites such as cheese, eggs, bacon and cured meats.
In the evening, Madre Terra restaurant gives Mediterranean cuisine a contemporary touch.
Seasonal and, wherever possible, regional ingredients take centre stage, together with vegetables from our organic garden, fish, homemade pasta and desserts.
And sometimes, a lovely evening simply begins with an aperitif on the terrace and a view down towards Malcesine.
Things become quieter in the painting studio. For a while, colours, shapes and images take the place of appointments, thoughts and expectations.
Sibylle Roshardt, a qualified painting and art therapist, helps you make space for creativity and reconnect with yourself. No previous artistic experience is required.
Whether you join a painting week, a yoga-and-painting retreat or arrange an individual session, the Atelier is a special place to step away from everyday life within Natur Resort Panorama.
The nature around us is more than the backdrop to your holiday. It is part of our history and our everyday life.
That is why we try to use the resources available to us responsibly. Photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, rainwater recovery, composting and our own organic vegetable garden are part of this approach, alongside charging points for electric cars and e-bikes and the gradual reduction of plastic use.
Some of what grows in our garden goes directly into the restaurant kitchen. A small cycle, and for us a natural part of the way we understand hospitality.

Malcesine brings lake and mountain together in a special way. Around the Resort you can hike, trek, mountain bike, Nordic walk, sail, windsurf and kitesurf.
If you would like to see Lake Garda from above, you can also try a tandem paragliding flight.
The San Michele intermediate station of the Malcesine–Mount Baldo cable car is about one kilometre from the Resort.
From here, you can head up Mount Baldo and into the mountain landscape above Lake Garda.
